Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 August 2026“Cookies” are small pieces of data a website can ask your browser to store and send back on later visits. This page lists everything that may be stored in your browser on this site, split by who sets it and why.
1. Set by this site: local storage, no cookies
This site's own code sets no cookies at all. It stores four interface preferences in your browser's local storage — a related but distinct feature — which stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. None of them identify you or track you across sites.

Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all four and resets the interface to its defaults.
2. Set by the host: strictly necessary
The site is intended to be served through Cloudflare as its host and content delivery network. Cloudflare sets its own cookies to tell real visitors from automated abuse and to keep the site available. These are strictly necessary: they are not analytics, they carry no advertising identifier, and Cloudflare states that its bot-detection cookie is generated separately per site and does not track users from site to site or session to session. Which of these actually appears depends on the protection features enabled and on whether your request triggers a check at all.

3. Analytics cookies: not set today
No analytics cookie is set on this site as of the date above, because no analytics runs on it. If Google Analytics 4 is added later, it would set first-party cookies containing a randomly generated identifier so that repeat visits count as one visitor. Google's documented maximum duration for its main Analytics cookie is two years.

Exact names and durations depend on how Analytics is configured; Google maintains the authoritative list in its advertising and measurement cookie reference. Note that Analytics also derives approximate location from your IP address independently of any cookie — see section 3 of the Privacy Policy, which sets out what it collects and on whose authority.
4. The cookie notice
The notice shown on your first visit is what governs section 3. Analytics will load only if you accept, and declining leaves it off — consent is asked for before any tracking runs, not retrofitted afterwards. Your answer is remembered locally under sn.consent.
The notice does not govern section 2. Strictly necessary hosting cookies fall outside consent requirements because the site cannot be served reliably without them; if that is not acceptable to you, the only real remedy is not to visit.
5. Managing this yourself
Every browser can block or clear cookies and local storage per site, usually under “Site settings” or “Privacy and security”. Blocking everything here costs you only your saved interface preferences — there is no account or login to break. Tracking-protection features and blocking extensions work normally on this site; nothing here tries to defeat them.
